Who we are and how to reach us

This website belongs to Shree Vallabh Farashkhana & Decorators, an event planning and decoration business based in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. For any question about this page, or to ask about information you have sent us, contact us on +91 89053 46254 or at Vfd.events@gmail.com.

What information we collect, and why

The only form on this website is the enquiry form on the Contact page. If you submit it, we receive what you type into it:

• Mobile number (required)
• Type of event (required)
• Email address (optional)
• Event date (optional)
• Number of guests (optional)
• Event location (optional)
• Budget (optional)
• Services you are interested in (optional)
• Message (optional)

We use this information to contact you about your enquiry. Our team can also record a follow-up status (new, contacted, quoted, booked or lost) and private notes against each enquiry.

When a visitor taps a WhatsApp button on the site, the server adds one to a single running total of taps. That total does not record who tapped. The server also applies rate limits to the enquiry form and to that counter to limit abuse; the limiter’s default setting identifies a connection by its IP address, and the site’s code does not set a different identifier. Messages you send through WhatsApp, a phone call or email are outside the enquiry form.

How your enquiry is stored, who sees it and how long it is kept

When you submit the enquiry form, the website saves your enquiry as one record on the server, in a storage area that is not served to the public. If the site is hosted on Netlify, the record is kept in Netlify’s blob storage instead.

If email delivery has been set up on the server, the website also emails the contents of your enquiry to the site’s configured notification address. If email delivery has not been set up, no email is sent.

Stored enquiries can be viewed in an admin area that requires sign-in. There an admin can update the status and notes, export enquiries as a CSV file, and delete an enquiry.

Enquiry records have no automatic expiry. They are kept until an admin deletes them.

Third-party services

Your browser may load content from the following outside services while you use the website. When it does, that service receives your browser’s request, which includes your IP address, under its own policies. We do not control those policies.

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com): the fonts used on the pages.
• Google Maps embed (www.google.com): the “Find us” map on the Contact page.
• YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com embed, youtube.com, and thumbnails from img.youtube.com and i.ytimg.com): portfolio videos and their thumbnails.
• Google Drive (drive.google.com and Google image hosts): portfolio photos and videos stored in Google Drive.

The website’s security policy also allows connections to Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. However, no analytics script is loaded by any page of the website at the time of writing, so the website does not currently run Google Analytics. If analytics is added later, this page must be updated.

Links to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and WhatsApp are ordinary links. They only take you to those services when you click them.

Cookies and browser storage

The website’s own code does not set any cookies. It uses your browser’s local storage to remember your language choice, your light or dark display choice, and a cached copy of the site’s colour settings. It uses session storage to remember that you closed a site banner during your visit. These are stored in your browser. Content embedded from the third-party services above may use cookies or storage of its own, under those services’ policies.

Asking us to delete your information

To ask us to delete an enquiry you submitted, call +91 89053 46254 or email Vfd.events@gmail.com and tell us the name and mobile number you used. An admin can delete an enquiry record from the admin area. The website has no self-service deletion feature. If an email copy of your enquiry was sent, that copy stays in the mailbox that received it and has to be deleted there separately.

Terms of use

This website describes our event planning and decoration services and lets you send us an enquiry. Submitting the enquiry form sends us your details so that we can contact you. The website has no online payment feature.

As stated on the About page, catering and certain specialist services are coordinated through our trusted partner network and are not operated directly by Shree Vallabh Farashkhana & Decorators.

No separate legal terms of use have been written for this website yet. Deciding what they should say is a matter for the site owner and a lawyer, as noted at the top of this page.
